What is CFS?

CFS (Container Freight Station) is a specialized cargo-handling facility used for activities such as cargo receiving, sorting, consolidation, deconsolidation, temporary storage, packing, unpacking, and shipment preparation.

CFS services are particularly relevant to LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, where cargo from different customers may be consolidated into a single container.

For import shipments, cargo may be removed from a container and separated for individual delivery. For export shipments, individual cargo shipments can be received, consolidated, and prepared for container loading.
